The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) is undertaking a market sounding process to capture the market’s views and ideas to assist DTP in refining its approach to inform and facilitate bus industry understanding and subsequent uptake of Zero Emission Buses (ZEBs) in regional Victoria by enabling bus operators to trial ZEBs through a structured government-supported trial.

The Market Sounding Process has the following objectives:

•       Build market awareness and understanding of the Project;

•       Understand current market dynamics, capability, capacity and appetite;

•       Provide a high-level indicative procurement timeline for the Project.
