CFA has prepared a RFI Questionnaire to gauge the interest, capacity and capability of suppliers to provide fire rated safety boots designed specifically for the unique needs of women on behalf of CFA.

Firefighting Footwear is required to be certified to:

• AS/NZS 4821:2014 Protective footwear for firefighters - Requirements and test methods (EN15090:2012, MOD) Type 2 - Classification Class I
• Certification is to be evidenced by provision of the Certification Schedule and accompanied by independent test results from a NATA or ILAC equivalent laboratory.
• Certification will be evidenced in the EOI by provision of the Certification Schedule and accompanied by independent test results from a NATA or ILAC equivalent laboratory.
