GMW invites offers from suitably qualified contractors to undertake Regulator works as below:

Works will include:

ST008298 – PH993 Regulator Replacement

A site inspection was completed by Technical Standards & Support with subsequent report recommending the replacement of the entire structure.

The scope of woks has been identified from the functional design report that includes:

• Replacement of gates:
  • Design capacity = 1100ML/d
  • Number of bays = 4
  • Types of gates = 2 x Flume Gates and 2 x Slip Gates 
• Replacement of the concrete structure and rock beaching.
• Installation of walkways, safety railings and fencing.
• Installation of ancillary equipment such as solar power and storage system and control & communication systems etc.
• Decommissioning and safe removal of obsolete assets due to the upgrade.

ST008206 – PH975 Regulator Combine

An assessment of the exiting concrete emplacement has been undertaken with results confirming that the structure is in good condition.

It is proposed to remove and dispose of the existing AWMA undershot gate and replace with a single Rubicon SlipGate with 12v power source and remote pedestal control.

The proposed scope of works are:

• Required Design Capacity = 90ML/Day
• Dewater site,
• Remove & dispose of existing AWMA undershot gate,
• Install Rubicon SlipGate with 12v power source & remote pedestal control.
• SGA-1354-1830-SO SlipGate with frame, hardware, stilling wells & micron sensors.
• Onsite civil works & commissioning.

This will be a construction only contract using the Victorian Public Sector Special Conditions of Contract for use with AS2124, General Conditions of Contract.
