Contract - RFT 2708

Ambulance Victoria released a tender seeking a contractor for Mobile Support Services to service all of AV’s Metropolitan fleet, must be located in Metropolitan Melbourne in order to provide timely responses to meet AV requirements as outlined in this specification. The services comprise of infield mobile mechanics that provide 4 shifts per day, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year for AV’s metropolitan fleet of vehicles. The mechanics undertake scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as stretcher and wheelchair servicing.

The objective of the mobile support service is to decrease paramedic out of service time by providing timely mobile in field support and repairs:

- scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for AV vehicles including the supply of labour and vehicle parts;

- tyre replacement program; and

- stretcher and stretcher loader service program (AV will provide the successful Contractor with stretcher and stretcher loader parts inventory).
