Contract Details
AMES Australia's newly aquired property at Werribee includes site and buildings have been vacant for approximately twenty years and require significant upgrades to the existing fire services. This is required to meet current Residential Tenancies (Rooming House Standards) Regulations 2012, set out by Consumer Affairs Victoria in addition to meeting all Building Code of Australia and all relevant Australian Standards requirements. Building 19 and 21 are two storey former student accommodation but do not have sprinkler services. Building 20 is an existing amenities building proposed to providing office accommodation, cooking, dining, recreational and cleaning/washing facilities, male and female amenities.
There are three stages required by AMES Australia:
1. Design documentation for compliant Fire Services upgrade and obtain necessary approvals
2. Works to implement fire service as per design, including fire panels, sprinklers, smoke detection/occupant watrning, assessment of existing fire services equipment and signage
3. Testing and installation of usage and existing hose reels, cabinets and signage.
