Existing accommodation facility is being refurbished for short term housing for refugees/asylum seekers as part of the Australian government’s Humanitarian Settlement Program.

The Site and Buildings have been vacant for approximately 15 years and require significant works to meet current Rooming House Code requirements.

Building 19 and 21 are 2 storey former Boarding Houses. Building 20 is an existing Amenities Building providing Office Accommodation, Cooking, Dining, Recreational and Cleaning/Washing Facilities, Male and Female Amenities.

Building Works & other trade Services are required to perform a refurbishment to areas of the three buildings.

  1. Repairs and makegood
  2. Installations and fitout
  3. Preparation of interior surfaces and painting
  4. Plumbing works, gas and other appliances and other minor works as specified in the Statement of Works.
