Time spent in custody for remandees requires a focus on their adjustment into prison and preparation for release. The focus of programs and services available to remandees must be independent of their alleged offending given their presumption of innocence. To ensure a targeted and responsive service for remandees, CV is seeking to procure an appropriately qualified organisation to develop a modular programs suite of interventions targeted at the specific needs of unsentenced prisoners. The expected benefits of this project are to:

• Enhance opportunities for remandees to access appropriate programs
• Reduce impact of institutionalisation and incarceration for remandees.
• Increase successful reintegration outcomes for remandees
