This project is designed to provide automated emergency lock down and secure after-hours access to all entrances providing access to Urgent Care, Acute, overnight accommodation on Rehab, mechanical equipment and access to keytell in engineering.   This includes data logging and historical information of access to the hospital, for analysis and reference when required.

There is an existing Gallagher swipe card system that was installed to provide secure access to drug rooms throughout the hospital and aged care buildings. This system is to be maintained at all times while the new extension of the Gallagher system is installed.
