UPDATE 170130 EOI extended for Social Housing Pipeline Program

The Victorian Government has announced new funding to help deliver new social and private housing on vacant state-owned land across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

The first stage of the three-year initiative will take in 50-plus sites across 13 suburbs in western Melbourne and Geelong, to be followed by rollout in other parts of the state.  

The Government expects the total value of its land contribution to be matched by the value of social housing returned to the Director of Housing, the current land owner.

The funding will help our selected partners achieve a suitable return rate in offering innovative, value-adding projects.

Interested agencies and businesses should check the guidance pack and schedules for all requirements to apply.

Expression of interest applications will now close at 5pm on Friday 24 February 2017. This time extension is to compensate for the holiday period.

Successful EOI applications will be offered the chance to submit a request for proposal in March 2017. The aim is for supported projects in the pilot area to commence in 2017-18.
