Description

Parks Victoria is calling for tenders from suitably qualified individuals or organisations to implement prescribed monitoring protocols for measuring:

(i) changes in deer abundance, density and habitat use and

(ii) changes in the occurrence and severity of deer impacts on alpine/sub-alpine peatlands in response to deer control on the Bogong High Plains and the Howitt-Snowy- Wellington Plains in the Alpine National Park.

Monitoring will commence in March 2016 with works delivered annually until 2019/2020.

 Respondents are to lodge their tender responses marked CONFIDENTIAL, Tender No. 42626 – monitoring changes in the levels of deer abundance and deer impacts in the Alpine National Park, by 2.00pm Wednesday 17th  February 2016 in the Tender Box located at Parks Victoria, Level 10, 535 Bourke St, Melbourne Vic 3000.
