On 18 January 2016, Public Transport Victoria intends to invite Expression of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified organisations to undertake the role of Independent Reviewer for the High Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) Project.

The HCMT Project is being conducted as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) in compliance with the State’s PPP guidelines. Consistent with the State’s PPP guidelines and precedent transactions of this size and type, an organisation is required to act as an Independent Reviewer to both the State and Project Co. The Independent Reviewer is therefore a critical and necessary component of the Project.

The Independent Reviewer will be appointed by the State prior to Contract Close to perform pre-Contract Close services, and jointly engaged by the State and Project Co during the Delivery Phase of the HCMT Project.
