The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) is seeking proposals for the design, implementation and ongoing support of a new technology platform and application set to support its core regulatory business processes.

Proposals are sought for:

·         the specification of a technology platform and detailed solution architecture to support the core regulatory business processes of the VBA.

·         the design, development and implementation of the first delivery pack (proof of concepts).

·         the provision of ongoing support and development services for the overall implementation of the Business Systems transformation program.

The VBA will consider solutions that are based on either cloud computing or traditional licence models.  Tenderers may respond with a maximum of two solution provision models (refer RFT Part B, Section 2, 4 Solution Provision).  For example, Tenderers may propose two options for providing the solution.  One based around an on-premis approach and the second as a SaaS model.

Overall, a core objective of the successful Contractor will be to work collaboratively with the VBA and key stakeholders to ensure the VBA’s outcomes are achieved.
