The Victorian Department of Human Services is creating the foundation for a more sustainable, efficient and effective out-of-home care system. The Therapeutic Outcomes Focussed Residential Care and Support Servicessubmissiongrants prospective service providers the flexibility to design and deliver innovative and effective therapeutic residential care and support services that achieve positive outcomes for children and young people. Service design is not restricted to existing care models and prospective providers are encouraged to develop a “ground up” service model that clearly articulates the way in which their proposed approach to therapeutic care will achieve positive outcomes.

Total available funding over four years is $20.8 million.
