Description
North Central Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified organisations to undertake a detailed survey and assessment of up to 373km of strategic rural levees, along Gunbower Creek from Torrumbarry to Koondrook, the Murray River from Murrabit to Vinifera and along the lower Loddon River.
This assessment will be used to, better inform the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) and community of the level of protection afforded by the strategic levees and as a guide to decision making when considering measures to improve the existing standard of protection of the levee system.
The assessment of strategic rural levees will be completed in accordance with a standard specification that has been developed by DSE.
