The State Library of Victoria requires one or more consultants or organisations to undertake the Victorian Public Libraries 2030 project.  The project will use strategic foresight techniques to facilitate a process to work with Victoria public library service managers to explore alternative futures, identify a role for libraries and develop a framework to ensure that public library services are developed accordingly.  It is inspired by The Bookends Scenarios (2010) undertaken for public libraries in New South Wales and Public Libraries of New Zealand: A strategic framework 2006 to 2016 but seeks to extend and build on this work.
