The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is inviting expressions of interest for the provision of clinical advisory services

The Clinical Panel (Panel) is a diverse pool of Clinicians across a number of medical, allied health and disability disciplines.

The role of the Panel is to conduct reviews and provide clinical support and advice to health professionals treating individuals injured in a transport accident. The Panel also provides clinical support and advice to TAC claims staff ensuring claims-related decisions are clinically informed and justified.

The Panel also provides clinical input into initiatives under the TAC 2020 strategy, particularly in regard to Clients achieving improved outcomes and influencing the health sector. The work of the Panel is increasingly being redirected from claims review towards providing greater support to the TAC’s strategic programs to achieve the TAC vision of being a world leading social insurer.
