The Electronic Timely Quality Care (eTQC) program represents the largest technology investment undertaken by Alfred Health and is identified as one of the three flagship projects in the Alfred Health Strategic Plan 2016-20.

The major deliverable of the eTQC Program is the implementation of a full enterprise wide Electronic Medical Record (EMR) using the Cerner Platform. This will lead to a significant increase in the use of clinical applications within the hospital and will result in high system demand by clinicians on shared “point of care" devices to access clinical information. Alfred Health is seeking to partner with the right technology vendor to deploy Bedside Mobile Workstations across the organisation to provide secure and rapid access to clinical and non-clinical applications.

This Request for Tender is an invitation for suitably qualified suppliers to submit proposals for Alfred Health’s requirements for Bedside Mobile Workstations (BMW) as part of the organisation’s Electronic Timely Quality Care (eTQC) Program plus any additional requirements the organisation may require beyond this program
