Project:  Delivering on priority outcomes as stipulated in the Applied Aquatic Ecology Research Hub workplan 2016/17. 

The Applied Aquatic Ecology Research Hub delivers on government aquatic ecological research priorities for the Hub Partners.  The 2016-17 Work Plan activities as shown below are priorities set by the Hub Partners (comprising DELWP Biodiversity Division, Water & Catchment group, Catchment Management Authorities and the Office of the Victorian Environmental Water Holder.)

 In keeping with the Hub's goals, the Service Provider will ensure that the activities in the Applied Aquatic Ecology Research Hub Work Plan 2016/17 are completed and/or delivered.

1. Complete activities that will provide an understanding of the status of research activity and research needs within the Hub Partners
2. Identify the high risk areas of knowledge gaps of the Hub Partners in meeting their needs such as in those specified in the Water Plan and current programs
3. Distribute and share knowledge gained from all Actions
4. Develop new or enhance existing approaches to facilitate more effective communication within and between Hub Partners
5. Understand and monitor and evaluate the impact of Hub Partners research outcomes
6. Maintain transparency, credibility and accountability

These activities will be determined annually but re-assessed on a 6 monthly basis.
