Contract Details
North East Water is intending to upgrade the Wastewater Treatment Plant at Tallangatta, Victoria including demolition of the existing plant.
The works that form part of this tender, include:
· Design and installation of an inlet screen
· Design and construction of a lagoon treatment plant and transfer pumps
· Design and installation of aerators and process monitoring equipment
These works need to be completed while maintaining wastewater services to the town of Tallangatta.
North East Water is now inviting interested parties to tender for the design and construction of this scope of works as detailed in the preliminary drawings and specification provided.
The award of this contract will be subject to final approval from the Environment Protection Authority Victoria.
North East Water has completed a preliminary design that will be issued as part of an RfT to the open market seeking to engage a Principal Contractor under a design and construct contract to deliver this project.
North East Water requires a Principal Contractor that must have a supplier management system that is fully certified by a certifying body against one of the standards / assurance systems listed by both the Department of Treasury (DTF) & Finance and Worksafe. For contracts of less than $500k the tenderer must be able to demonstrate compliance with the DTF’s 12-point evaluation criteria.
