1

Budget

What is your Budget range

This RFI is to assist with setting our budget. We do not divulge our budgets at this point in time

2

Internet

Is there a preference for the CMS for the Website?

No there is no preference at this stage, This is an RFI, we are seeking options and information on respondents offerings

3

Intranet

For the Intranet, are you open to using a CMS that integrates to SharePoint

Share point is currently being used, PMC are open to other options depending on the benefits that is on offer

4

Intranet

Will you accept Intranet only submissions?

Yes, the RFI has provided for a supplier to submit for either platform or to provide both

5

Intranet

Will you consider other platforms that utilise but are not built using SharePoint?

Yes, we are seeking Information on what respondents can offer and what would best suit our needs.

6

Internet / Intranet

Section 1.2 of the RFI document states you are looking to rebuild the "Internet (website) and Intranet using SharePoint".  Is this correct?

Yes this is correct

Internet (Website CMS) and Intranet (SharePoint)

We want CMS open source for Website and SharePoint for Intranet.

7

SharePoint

Which version of SharePoint are you referring to?  Is it SharePoint Online (which is not suitable for public facing sites) or one of the SharePoint on premise versions

We are seeking information from suppliers as to what they think would be best option from which PMC will decide which best meets what they are looking for.

8

Internet

Do you have a preferred technology for the website?

NO

9

Internet

If your preference is to move away from the technology used for the current website, why

As explained in the RFI, we are looking for information on what would be the best option moving forward, this is not a RFQ, we are assessing our options

10

Internet

Why are you rebuilding the website?  What outcomes are you targeting to achieve / pain point’s do you want to overcome by rebuilding the website?

Our current support Drupal is expiring and we are looking at upgrading the Internet and intranet to a more modern and user friendly design

11

Internet / Intranet

What is it about the current website that doesn't enable access to "up to date & relevant information for patients and health professionals alike"

See above comment,

12

Internet

Do you have business, functional requirements or non-functional requirements for the new website

Both

13

Intranet

Why are you rebuilding your intranet? What outcomes are you targeting to achieve / pain points do you want to overcome by rebuilding the intranet?

This is an old site and format, so want to have a more up to date and more user friendly site.

14

Intranet

Do you have business or functional requirements, or non-functional requirements for the new intranet?

Both

15

Internet / Intranet

Can we assume that current version of Intranet and Internet is also built on SharePoint?

The current version of the Intranet and Internet is not built on SharePoint.

16

Internet / Intranet

What is the CMS used currently for Internet and what is that used for Intranet? And are both hosted on AWS platform?

The CMS we currently use for Internet (website) and Intranet is Drupal 7 – an open source CMS software.  Both are hosted on AWS platform.

17

Internet / Intranet

If the current version is on SharePoint? Is both Intranet and Internet hosted in the same SharePoint farm

N/A

18

Internet / Intranet

It is stated in the tender that “Peter Mac seeks to have solutions provided as Software as a Service (SaaS)”. Only option of SharePoint as a SaaS is SharePoint online. But SharePoint online cannot be used as an Internet Site as it cannot have any anonymous pages. Is Peter Mac expecting vendors to host the solution and provide as SaaS

No, the Internet (Website) will not be built on SharePoint - we do not expect vendors to host the solution and provide SaaS for the Website.  This is only required for the Intranet.

19

Internet / Intranet

Can we know how many internet users and concurrent users are expected for Intranet?

There are approx. 3200 Peter Mac

20

Internet / Intranet

The tender document says rebuild Peter Mac’s Intranet and Internet site. Can we have the list of features that are currently in the Intranet and Internet site? Are we expected to migrate or recreate any of the existing functionality? If yes, then can we have more details on such functionality? Do we need to migrate the existing content of the Intranet and Internet site to the new sites? If yes, then what is the data size to be migrated

Its old and needs an overall, as this is a RFI, we are not sure what we want or need, hence we are asking suppliers of what they have done previously with other clients similar to Peter Mac and or the healthcare sector. Following this RFI we may select a shortlist of suppliers to provide a more detailed quote, where we will be better placed to answer questions in more detail.

In relation to Content, yes we would most likely migrate most of the content from the Intranet to SharePoint as it is not that old but with the view to making some updates and changes where it’s needed, and there will most likely be some content for the Website migrated to the CMS platform but again, being that it is old, we will probably recreate most of it

21

Internet / Intranet

PMCC currently has an existing internet website. What are the key areas that PMCC is looking for, in the revamp of internet website?

The website needs a full overhaul – we need to sit down and discuss what we need / require and work through this.  We haven’t got to this stage as yet.

22

Internet / Intranet

Is it the design layout , UI/UX or publishing content seamlessly from intranet to internet that needs to be improve

Yes everything

Supplier Post #11 - Separate Bids This post is publicly visible

Hi PeterMac,

I was wondering if you would allow for seperate bids, IE Only pitching for the Intranet Piece of work and not the Website and vice versa.

Would you allow this? OR do you prefer to have a single vendor provide both options.

Thanks

PMC are open to either option, This is a request for "information" and will evaluate responses according to core compitenties, PMC encourage suppliers to submit information whether they provide only one or both services.
