"As part of its Strategy 2030 Initiative, WorkSafe Victoria will be releasing two proposals by the Friday 7 July 2017.

The first is a Request for Tender (RFT) for the design and development of an Innovation Centre within WorkSafe. The second will be a Request For Information (RFI) to assist the rapid establishment of an Analytics Centre aligned with delivery of the 2030 Strategy.

This RFT for Innovation has an expected outcome the provider will be expected to:

• develop and design a recommended model for an innovation function, tailored to WorkSafe’s current and future needs, in line with contemporary leading practice;
• detail the design of governance, oversight and evaluation mechanisms at the portfolio and project level to support program and product development and management;
• identify the capability requirements, potential roles and structure for the function;
• design end-to-end processes for innovation execution;
• identify recommended options for best practice innovation methodology, tools and technology;
• identify potential partnering organisations and  outsourcing options; and
• develop a detailed implementation approach for the recommended model that aligns to the broader Strategy 2030 roadmap
