Description

South East Water (the Organisation) is one of Melbourne’s three state-owned metropolitan water retailers.  We provide water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services for residents and businesses in Melbourne’s south east, located in the state of Victoria, Australia.

We service more than 1.65 million people including more than 630,000 residential water customers and more than 55,000 non-residential water customers.

In a region spanning 3,640 square kilometres, last year we delivered 125 billion litres of drinking water, 4.7 billion litres of recycled water and collected 121 billion litres of sewage.

Our vision ‘Healthy Water for Life’ is supported by our Assets, Customers, Employees and Sustainability (ACES) strategic framework. With a clear definition of our core business and future focussed programs, together with a clear set of values, we know what we want to achieve and how to achieve it.

As part of our commitment to the community South East Water will make available hydration stations providing clean, fresh drinking water at community events that fall within South East Water’s service region and meet certain criteria.

The hydration station is a mobile water trailer, pioneered by South East Water for the supply of drinking water at community events.  South East Water has two of these hydration stations for use.

South East Water provides the hydration stations to 35 – 50 events per financial year. Events occur in all sectors of our region from Alexandra Gardens in Melbourne, to the Rosebud Foreshore, Casey Fields in Berwick and other locations in Cranbourne, Frankston, McKinnon, Albert Park, Clayton plus others. The majority of events occur between September to April each year, with only a small number occurring during May to August. Most events occur on weekends with some falling on public holidays and some during the week.

This document outlines the requirements for a suitable supplier to submit their quotation to provide South East Water’s hydration stations to community events, including transportation to and from the event, bump-in, bump-out, site visits prior to each event, wash down and cleaning after each event, minor maintenance and upholding the brand and reputation of South East Water whenever acting on behalf of the organisation.
