The Department is seeking responses for the provision of the Community Support Program (CSP) for Post-Sentence Scheme Offenders. The CSP is one of the projects under CV’s specialist response for serious sex offender management. This strategy aims to reduce the risk of high risk sex offenders by facilitating their identification, management and rehabilitation.

The CSP is complementary to the services already provided through CV’s statutory case management, resdiential facilities and offence specific services delivered by CV’s clinicians; the CSP will contribute to community safety by providing supports to an offender that will assist in addressing their complex needs and overall reduce the risk of further offending.

The CSP aims to achieve this through the provision of pro-active, practical and individualised assistance that facilitates sex offenders’ access to a range of community supports and services that will address their multifaceted needs.
