CarbonNet is part of the Victorian Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources and is investigating the potential for establishing a carbon capture and storage network in the Gippsland Basin, Victoria, Australia.

CarbonNet needs expert geological, modelling and other services to support a work program to appraise geological carbon storage sites in the Gippsland Basin.

The scope of the Carbon Sequestration Advisory Services will include:

• development of documentation for regulatory processes, including GHG permit work program obligations
• development of documentation for a Declaration of Identified Storage Formation application
• preparation for a GHG injection licence application
• report writing and development of external presentations, including for GCCSI knowledge share reports as required under the Commonwealth funding agreement
• review of third party research projects such as by CO2CRC and ANLEC R&D
