Parks Victoria is calling for tenders from suitably qualified individuals or organisations to upgrade the Major Mitchell Plateau walking track from Boundary Gap to the Jimmy Creek Campground.  The project has been divided into five specific portions that reflect the separate work types. These include:

Portion A                           Upgrading the existing walking track from Boundary Gap to the Major Mitchell Plateau

Portion B                           Installing 1184 m of steel mesh walkways on the Major Mitchell Plateau

Portion C                           Upgrading the existing rockwork on sections of the Major Mitchell Plateau walking track

Portion D                          Upgrading the existing walking track from the Mafeking Helipad to the Jimmy Creek Campground

Portion E                           Installing 572 stone steps between the Mafeking Helipad and the Jimmy Creek Campground

Prospective contractors are invited to tender for a single portion, multiple portions or for all five of the work packages.
