The Employment Training and Transition Support Service (ETTS) is to be delivered within the suite of youth justice services. Young people participating in the ETTS should experience a high quality employment and training-focused service, that is integrated with other supports and services provided to them. It is important that young people are not required to repeat their stories over and over, or to undergo multiple assessments. To this end, the ETTS must work closely with YJCS Coordinators and Youth Justice Regional Workers, utilising their knowledge and previous assessments pertaining to a young person as a foundation for providing service to that young person.
