Verification of Identity services for Non-represented Parties in paper conveyancing transactions
Tender No. 328285
From 1 December 2015, a party who is not represented in a paper conveyancing transaction will be required to have their identity verified by an Approved Identity Verifier. An Approved Identity Verifier will also be required to witness the signing of the paper Registry Instrument(s) by that non-represented party, and provide to Land Victoria the VOI Services File that will include certified copies of all identity Documents produced to verify identity, copy witnessed Registry Instrument(s), and the Approved Identity Verifier Certification.
