Description
TAC and Our Business
The TAC is a Victorian statutory authority responsible for managing a transport accident compensation scheme that pays benefits to people injured in transport accidents as required by the Transport Accident Act 1986 (Vic) (TAC Clients). Benefits payable by the TAC to TAC Clients include medical services, rehabilitation services and disability services.
The TAC’s responsibilities include:
- promoting the prevention of transport accidents and safety in the use of transport; and
- designing and promoting, so far as possible, programs designed to secure the early and effective medical and vocational rehabilitation of persons injured as a result of a transport accident.
The Requirement
By this Invitation, the TAC is seeking EOIs from suitably qualified organisations to conduct the Road Safety Monitor and Motorcycle Monitor utilising a mixed mode survey methodology.
The TAC may invite respondents to present their proposed methodology at a workshop held with TAC representatives before being asked to respond to a select tender on the basis of the EOI and workshop.
If successful, a contract will be offered to conduct the Road Safety Monitor and Motorcycle Monitor for a fixed three year period with the possibility of extending for up to another two years.
