Victoria Police is seeking to enter into a new agreement(s) for the provision of ongoing maintenance and support services for the software, hardware and operating systems for;

a) The Victoria Police Livescan Digital Fingerprint Device (LDFD) environment; and/ or

b) The Victoria Police facial recognition system (iFACE)

As part of this process Victoria Police will also be seeking some additional enhancements to the current system.

The initial contract (single or multiple) period is four years with the option to extend the contract(s)  for two additional 24-month periods at the discreation of Victoria Police. Tenderers will have the opportunity to tender for either or both maintenance and support contracts or offer alternative solutions that must provide functionality equivalent to that currently available to Victoria Police members.

Victoria Police has a future preference to upgrade the exisiting Victoria Police Livescan and iFACE environments into a single kiosk solution. As part of the tender process Victoria Police will provide tenderers with an option to detail indicative pricing proposals for the commissioning of an up to date technology refresh solution for the upgrade of the existing Victoria Police Livescan and iFACE enviroments into a single kiosk solution.
