Description

The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) is seeking responses to this Request for Tender for Technical Expertise on Mine Stability.

DEDJTR is seeking to set up a mine stability expert panel comprising technical consultant(s) with experience in open-pit and underground mining, with specific knowledge of geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, geology, mining engineering, hydrogeology, dam engineering (including tailings dam engineering) and hydrology (the Services).

The purpose is to engage technical expertise in relation to stability issues in mines and quarries across Victoria, with a focus on the intersection with risk mitigation as it relates to public safety, the environment, and public infrastructure.
 
The specific requirements in relation to the Services are set out in Part B of this RFT (Specification).
