Description

The Department of State Development Business and Innovation (DSDBI) is seeking to engage with the market in relation to Desktops, Notebooks and Mobility Devices (DNMD), to ascertain whether the proposed opportunities for value for money improvements of the future State Purchase Contract (SPC) are realistic and achievable. The future SPC would be replacing the existing SPC for Desktops and Notebooks (DTNB) which is due to expire in 2014.

It is not expected that the new DMND SPC would be in place before the current SPC expires. Participants are encouraged to provide a response with regards to the following:
  • For existing suppliers only, their experience and issues with the current SPC for Desktops and Notebook Equipment.
  • For interested, potential suppliers, their capability to meet the new requirements of the future SPC for DNMD.
This consultation process does not form part of any procurement process, however, it will directly inform decisions related to the scope and requirements of the RFT establishing the future SPC, and how the market will be approached.

All responses to the online questionnaire are to be submitted via the link provided in the Market Consultation document, NOT via the VicTenders site. DO NOT send hardcopy submissions to the Head Office address noted below.

All queries on the conduct of the market consultation should be addressed to Andrew Meier.
