Description
1.1 Objectives of the Tender
1.2.1 The objective of the Tender is to select and implement an Activity Based Clinical Costing system that satisfies the following minimum requirements:
· Enables Western Health to fulfil statutory reporting obligations (VCDC)
· Underlying information technology and hardware which can be supported by Western Health
· Enables Western Health to report sub-episodic patient costs in a routine and timely manner
· A user friendly front end that is intuitive and logical to use
· Information structure that promotes simple and quick navigation
· A web based interface which enables the system to be operated from any computer on the hospital network
· Ability to automate data loading and processing
· Allows Western Health to independently configure and operate the system
· The ability to interface with other hospital information systems
