Yarra Valley Water (YVW) is Melbourne’s largest retail water utility, providing essential water and sanitation services to more than 1.9 million people. The ReWaste Organics facility provides great synergies with Yarra Valley Water’s core assets, providing energy to our facilities while also generating additional revenue on land that typically has limited uses. It also aligns well with our environmental strategies and provides a wider community benefit through reducing organic waste delivered to landfills.

Yarra Valley Water are seeking suitably qualified organisations to provide Operations & Maintenance services at the ReWaste Facility located in Craigieburn Rd East, Wollert. The facility accepts and processes on average 140 tonne/day of trucked organic waste, 5 days per week.

The successful tenderer will be required to provide operations and maintenance services including waste receival and processing, engine maintenance, auditing, reporting and customer service for the facility as well as OH&S requirements for the site.
