Description

The TAC’s 2020 Strategy is centred on the statutory obligations of preventing road trauma (Towards Zero), compensating people efficiently and effectively and investing in initiatives that enhance a client’s rehabilitation following an accident (Clients’ Lives Back on Track).

The final horizon of the TAC’s current 2020 Strategy is drawing near as we complete corporate planning for the 2019-20 financial year.  Recent challenges with scheme performance have led management to reprioritise the overall strategic program.  Management have undertaken an extensive review and consequently slowed down the pace of change planned over the coming twelve months to allow sufficient capacity and focus to deliver on stabilising scheme performance before achieving our TAC 2020 strategic objectives.

The TAC Board and Executive team have commenced preliminary scanning and discussions about the approach to develop TAC’s strategy beyond 2020. This strategy will consider longer term planning with key phases designed to achieve strategic objectives.

The TAC wants to procure a consultancy to partner with the TAC, through the corporate strategy team, to review delivery of the TAC's existing strategy and support the development of the TAC's next strategy. The TAC is looking for proposed methodologies for delivering the services outlined in this document that are based on best practice and contemporary approaches to strategic review and development.
