Public Transport Victoria (Organisation) is seeking responses to this RFT for the provision of PTV Next Generation Mobile Applications.

The opportunity is for the delivery of the new generation of mobile applications delivery journey planning, real-time information, disruption notifications and myki card management to the users of public transport in Victoria.

The project approach is to:
• Develop an app that consumes services created and managed from within PTV and trusted third-party providers
• Delivery a user-centered experience based on evidence and data
• Use rapid and iterative development
• Develop the ability to tailor service information and marketing based on user behaviour.

Public Transport Victoria (PTV) has implemented the eProcurement platform Zycus. 

This platform will automate and improve our procurement process for both internal users and our supplier network. Zycus offers intuitive forms, dynamic reporting, and greater integrity under Victorian Government procurement legislation.

RFT2019-1078 - PTV Next Generation Mobile Applications - Briefing Session

Briefing session    
Briefing session time and date:    2:15pm – 3:45PM (Melbourne time)

Attendance at the briefing session is Optional

The briefing session is designed to give the Organisation the opportunity to:
(a)    guide Tenderers through the RFT documents;
(b)    clarify the overall scope and intent of the RFT; and
(c)    receive questions that Tenderers may have in regards to the RFT documents.

Registration Process
Tenderers must register to attend this briefing via email to
Space is limited, and Tenderers should have no more than two representatives per company.  As 750 Collins is a secure building you must provide the name and contact details for each attendee to be registered with security for the day.

Tenderers are strongly encouraged to provide any questions they may have prior to the briefing so they can be addressed during the briefing where possible, additional questions may be asked at the session however tenderers may be required to submit those additional queries and questions asked during the briefing session in writing after the briefing session.  Details of and responses to these queries and questions may be provided to all other Tenderers in accordance with the communication process set out in clause 2.2 of Part B.2, in which event those details shall form part of this RFT.
