Over the last two years, the TAC has embarked on the delivery of the TAC 2020 Strategy, a large focus of which is to uplift the way that TAC interacts with its clients, providers and the Victorian community. The data ecosystem is recognised as being a critical business enabler to support the successful delivery of the strategy: the TAC requires a more coherent, well managed and structured data environment so that data is ‘trusted by design’ to enable improved enterprise-level analytics and operational practices.

The Data Analytics and Reporting (DAR) program was established in December 2017 to look into how the strategy could be brought to life. The Project has assessed our current landscape and propose a future technology landscape that would meet the TAC’s needs.

The scope of the tender covers two main phases of the DAR Program;

1.Technology – This phase of the program will implement the DAR platform comprising of the technology components outlined in the DAR Solution Architecture; and

2.Business Value – This phase seeks to meet TAC business information needs through the development of reports, dashboards and key analytical models.
