The Chiller units and steam boilers installed at the Moorabbin hospital are at the end of their lifecycle. Replacement plans include an upgrade accompanied by requisite civil earthworks, building works, generator and plant room upgrades. The upgrade is to be completed in 2019. The key deliverable is the appointment of a single qualified and competent contractor to deliver the package of Civil, Building and Infrastructure upgrades as specified so Monash Health has the need to appoint a contractor for the upgrade and commissioning of these tasks below.
