Description
The GMCT, as the building owner, is required under the Building Act 1993 and the Building Regulations 2018 to:
- Maintain records of maintenance checks;
- Complete an Annual Essential Safety Measures report, before each anniversary of the date of occupancy permit or determination; and
- Keep all Essential Services reports of maintenance checks on the Properties or at the Contractor’s office for inspection by the municipal building surveyor at any time on request. The records shall be available in hardcopy and digital format.
