Description
The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) will be seeking bids for the support, enhancement and maintenance of the State Resource Information Management System (SRIMS).
SRIMS supports DTF in providing Victorian Government with meaningful, accurate and timely financial information to support strategic resource allocation decision making from a Whole-of-Government perspective. SRIMS is a high-profile system, critical in delivering the annual state budget and annual financial statements.
There are currently 750 users of SRIMS across Victorian Government departments and agencies.
SRIMS went into production in 2012 and is composed of a number of Oracle applications and databases including BIDS application (owned by Performa), a .NET application supporting workflows and data uploads.
The Victorian Government hosting and support partner, CenITex, supports the SRIMS infrastructure, including network and operating systems.
The vendor will work collaboratively with DTF and CenITex to support, maintain and perform necessary enhancements to ensure SRIMS remains fit for purpose for duration of the contract.
