PTV is seeking a partner to develop a visualisation tool that enables its user with the capability to interrogate and navigate relationships and dependencies between various elements of the public transport network. These network relationships, dependencies and elements are defined and captured by the Network Architecture, which is modelled and baselined using Enterprise Architecture along with the capability to visualise some of the information via geospatial maps.

The Architecture Visualisation Tool is a separate, but related, to the Network Architecture – where it will provide the user with access into the Network Architecture with user specific Viewpoints that can be customised to meet the user needs. The users of the Architecture Visualisation Tool encompass a broad range of stakeholders, including technical and non-technical personnel at all levels of decision making across the transport portfolio within the Victorian Government. Ultimately, these are individuals who have an interest or need to change the public transport network and appreciate the impact of such change (i.e. Transport Planers, Project Managers, Senior Executives, CEOs, and Domain Subject Matter Experts).
