Description

Federation University Tenders are to be submitted via the eProcure Tender Search portal. Only electronic submissions are accepted. The successful contractor would be required to work closely with the nominated Federation University Australia Project Manager to achieve the desired outcomes in the negotiated timeframe and with value for money.

Federation University, Australia through its Facilities Services Department, is requesting submissions via Pre-Qualification Tender for the Mechanical upgrade, Building C, Mt Helen Campus. This request for a service was previously tendered. Re-tendering was required due to the original timelines for the project where not able to be met by suppliers.

The Facilities Services Department Staff are responsible for campus planning, building maintenance, and a multitude of other services to maintain the University Campuses.  The specified services are required within a variety of buildings across the University.  These buildings are located at the Ballarat Campuses, Western Campuses (Horsham Ararat and Stawell) Churchill and the Berwick Campus. Pre-Qualification questions will be evaluated by several staff from Facilities Services and successful candidates will qualify for the tender. Suppliers will then be advised via an email notification from Tender Search. The supplier can then log into Tender Search to answer the relevant questions for the Request for Tender process.

Pre-Qualification questions are required to be answered by no later 18th January 2018, 4pm AEST, once the supplier has been deemed qualified you will get access to the full tender.

Conforming criteria – Conforming response is considered essential and that you must, at a minimum, meet. Failure to either provide a mandatory criterion means that your response to the question will be deemed as non-conforming. The supplier will still be considered in this tender.

The successful contractor would be required to work closely with the nominated Federation University Representative to achieve the desired outcomes in the negotiated timeframe and with value for money. The successful contractor would need to ensure they have staff available to work over the necessary time to meet the key milestones of the project. The scope of works, drawings and specifications are attached. The contractor is expected to supply a program of works with associated timeframes. The internal Works must be started by the 1 July 19 and completed by 21 July 19 to enable classes to function from 24 July 19. External works including the chiller can be completed by 18 August19. Penalties will apply at a rate of $500 per day over the due completion dates.

Submissions will be evaluated by several staff from the Facilities Services section of the University and successful candidate(s) will be supplied with a Purchase Order from Federation University which will be valid for 6 months.  The agreement will be Minor Works Contract, special conditions drafted as attached.

Federation University have the right to request follow up Interviews or a request for Best and Final Offer.
