Description

GVH currently has three (3) operating rooms and a day procedure room within the Perioperative department at the Shepparton campus.  As part of the GVH Redevelopment these numbers will increase to a total of seven (7) operating/procedure rooms in 2020.

The health service is seeking responses to this Invitation to Supply for the supply of reusable surgical instruments as outlined in Part A.2 – Specifications.  This tender scope covers GVH’s existing clinical requirements and there is also the opportunity to continue with the ongoing supply of reusuable surgical instruments particularly with the Redevelopment operating theatre expansion.

Disposable surgical instruments will not be considered as part of this tender.

GVH intends to purchase all one-hundred and ninety five (195) line items as specificed in the excel spreadsheet “GVH Reusable Surgical Instruments Specification” immediately upon tender award.  If however the total package cost exceeds GVH’s currently available budget, GVH may negotiate with shortlisted bidder(s) to immediately purchase the majority of the tendered package with the balance of this package to be further purchased if and when additional GVH funds are made available.

Bidders are required to submit proposals for all one-hundred and ninety five (195) line items.  Where physically practical, all offered reusable surgical instruments are required to be GS1 marked.
