Description
Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced organisations/individuals to undertake the Upper Mount Emu Creek Flood Investigation. This investigation will produce a range of high reliability flood risk and intelligence information for the Upper Mount Emu Creek catchment.
The entire investigation area covers Mt Emu Creek from Trawalla to Skipton and Baillie Creek from the outlet of Lake Burrumbeet to the confluence with Mt Emu Creek.
While the project covers a significant area, parts of the investigation and modelling are required to be undertaken at an appropriately high resolution to enable planning decisions to be made at a building envelope scale.
The investigation will produce a range of outputs to guide the following the floodplain management objectives:
- Mapping and Intelligence
- Warning Improvement
- Damages Assessment
- Mitigation Assessment
- Response Intelligence
- Planning Controls
