Monash Health performed an evaluation of Urine microscopy instruments available to the Australian market in 2015. Please indicate if the instrumentation offered has been introduced since that period or if available at that time detail any significant upgrades that have occurred since 2015.

Monash may procure an automated urine microscopy instrument and a urinalysis instrumentation or an automated urine microscopy only with a flexibility to upgrade with pricing review and by mutual agreement in the event of the availability of newer technology within the life of the contract.

The scope of this project is to provide

• Equipment to automate the counting of cells in urine samples submitted for microscopy and culture.
• Ongoing system maintenance and support.
• Equipment consumables.
