Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority (ESTA) reliance on telecommunications and technological assets and resources and the need for supportive infrastructure has become imperative to take certain standard precautions, beyond basic fire alarm systems, to prevent and address any fire threat posed by technical malfunction and breakdown.

Recognising the need to safeguard critical assets and following the installation of the fire suppression system in Ballarat, it has been identified the need to install the same system to WTCSECC equipment and data room.  WTC equipment and data server room house critical equipment as: data racks, radio and associated equpment, Coms/distribution racks; access switches and patchig and oher relevant telecommunications and data equipment.
