The objective is to source the supply of microbiology media with:

• a single supplier, or
• a multi-supplier framework agreement

Monash Health in its absolute discretion reserves the right to purchase selected media from alternative suppliers if the supplier cannot supply:

• the required item
• an item in a reasonable time from the date of ordering
• items in pack sizes or quantities suitable for Monash Health
• items of equal or superior quality and performance of alternative supplier’s products
• items not listed  but subsequently required by Monash Health at a price, suitable pack sizes or quantity, equal or superior quality and performance of alternative supplier’s products
• evidence that items are ISO 17025 certified
