The RFT is broken up into categories based on the IAP services for various court locations and housing support services to be delivered to participants within transitional housing management (THM) properties across the state.

The IAP service will assist participants of specialist courts and court-based support programs to obtain access to emergency accommodation, and longer-term housing support. These services will be delivered during business hours at the Melbourne, Sunshine, Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Courts, and the Neighbourhood Justice Centre.

The housing support service will provide support to participants housed in THM properties while transitioning to longer term housing options.

Tenderers may respond to one or more services categories. The services are to be provided  during the period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2020 (with an optional 12-month extension).

Fees and rates must be fixed for the three year period from the Services Commencement Date of 1 July 2018.

Contracts for the IAP service will be awarded on a category basis, and there is a preference for local providers in each region. Contracts for Housing Support may be a panel arrangement with multiple suppliers awarded. There is a preference for local providers covering regional locations.
