Description
The water supply responsibilities of North East Water (NEW) include the operation of the Bright water supply systems. To improve the supply to Gavan Street Bright, a new 505m 225mm diameter water main is to be renewed from Camp Street to Station Street including small sections of 150mm diameter water mains. The 225mm diameter watermain will replace the existing dual 100mm diameter asbestos cement watermain. As a result North East Water is seeking suitably qualified contractors to construct the proposed 225mm diameter raw watermain.
