Description
Government House has been undergoing a roof replacement program (since 2013) to replace the failing original 1876 roof to ensure safety to visitors and its heritage asset collection.
A building audit undertaken in late 2016 identified the Bllroom, Tower and Upper Residence roof as urgently requiring replacement.
Works are required to replace roof sections and associated guttering, to clean the Tower and internal light well facades, undertake render repairs and paint.
