Loddon Campaspe Food Industry Supply Chain Analysis
 

The need for this work has been identified through the Loddon Campaspe Regional Economic Growth Strategy which was a project sponsored by the Loddon Campaspe Regional Partnership.

The strength of both the primary and secondary food sector is directly reflected through its regional economic performance.  Building on the unique and competitive advantages of the region in the key areas of the food sector could potentially see growth in value-added food products.

Loddon Campaspe has a strong combination of agricultural production and processing that makes it ideal for a diverse range of investments. 

Investment is required to further leverage the existing strengths and substantial momentum across agriculture to further value-add through food manufacturing within the Loddon Campaspe region.

Completing such an analysis of the regions food industry supply chains will assist in identifying economic opportunities for possibly logistics, value-add and further economic benefits and project investments along the supply chain.  Opportunities for local expenditure and regional economic benefit could exist between the primary activity and current final marketplace.
